The First Step in Your Weight-Loss Journey.

Losing weight is an uphill battle for millions of Americans. For many of us, reaching a healthy weight is a challenge no matter how hard we try.

The good news is that weight-loss surgery (bariatric surgery) can provide a lasting solution to help you lose weight and keep it off. The bariatric specialists at Culver City Hospital can help you determine if surgery is right for you and help you every step of the way. Learn more about options for weight-loss surgery by downloading our free guide.

Our surgeons are committed to the success of every patient. If you're ready to schedule a consultation,  call us today at (310) 626-4278.

If you’re tired of yo-yo dieting and want to find a long-term solution, consider surgical weight loss (bariatrics). Our program provides comprehensive pre-operative planning through post-operative support to give you the best chance at losing weight and keeping it off.

We offer several metabolic bariatric surgery options, including the gastric sleeve and gastric bypass which focus on limiting the stomach’s capacity and reducing type 2 diabetes. Statistics indicate that 90% of those who have bariatric surgery lose 50% of their excess body weight.

Our surgeons have advanced training in state-of-the-art laparoscopic techniques. They are supported by a team of medical professionals with specialized skills in weight-loss surgery techniques and comprehensive pre- and post-op support. Our bariatric team will provide support throughout the process and answer any questions you have.

Life-changing Results

Despite gaining 40 pounds after having her third child, Sose Antebelian said she rarely thought of herself as being overweight; that is, until she saw pictures of herself. When I saw a picture of myself, I would think, that isn’t really me,” she recalled.

Antebelian had always gone to the gym, but began having problems with weight gain as an adult, especially after the birth of each of her children. She also was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s disease, a form of hypothyroidism. While it can often be controlled through medication, Antebelian wasn’t having any success, and she reached 264 pounds.
